Transfer Admissions

Transfer students are required to complete the full application process for admission.

Meet the basic requirements:
  • A cumulative minimum undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or the successful completion of a graduate-level program from another institution
  • If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the School of Education, you may be eligible for provisional admission, which sets goals to meet over your initial classes. Contact us to discuss.
  • Find your program on our academics page for program specific requirements.

Meet the supplementary requirements:

  • Transcript for coursework in progress
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) required for any candidate whose primary language is not English.
  • Transcript Evaluation: All international transcripts must be reviewed by an accredited evaluation service to determine U.S. equivalency of the degree awarded and the institution awarding the degree. Applications will not be reviewed for admissions until the official review is submitted.

Explore transfer credit opportunities:

  • Up to 9 credits may transfer into a Master's Degree or Licensure program with the approval of the department.
  • Courses must be graded on an A/F scale, contain a grade of 'B' or higher, and have been taken within the last 5 years.
